Beer Batter Sage Leaves with Lemon Garlic Aioli


With our expanded garden we ended up with an expanding selection of items to cook.  This year our Seattle Sage plants leaves were enormous and plentiful.  Our best year ever so we ventured into the realm of fried sage leaves.  You can just fry the leaves without batter but the batter was amazing.  They are very light with the crunching sage leaf in the center.  You will find you really need to make a big batch because they are so good.
