Will
liquid lasers change the way we prevent disease? University of Michigan researchers have
developed a new way of using liquid lasers to detect genetic mutations that may
predispose a person to a particular type of cancer or other diseases.
This exciting work could advance our understanding
of the genetic basis of disease and aid in disease prevention in the future.
On June 28, 2012, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled,
in a landmark decision, that the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), including the
provision that most Americans carry health insurance or pay a penalty, is constitutional. To help clarify the changes, Health Insurance
